The company shared, “In December 2016 (yes you read that right) the initial reconnaissance was done on what it would take to get it done and it seemed plausible.“Initial work that needed to be done was to convert most if not all external code libraries Kodi relies on and get these changes accepted by the original maintaining developer group(s).“Once that work was started the current Windows specific code was picked apart piece by piece and slowly converted to be with the UWP specs.”Kodi is available to download from the Microsoft Store now.If you have installed any of these MS Updates you will need to remove them to continue using the product: KB 3150220 or KB 3108669.Impatient Kodi fans can sign-up for beta releases of the new software – guaranteeing they’re always first to get their hands on new features. If you want to sign-up, simply head over to Kodi’s Google Forms page and input the email address associated with your Microsoft or Xbox account.Kodi will let you know when the latest software is available for your Xbox One.The media player states, “Your account e-mail address will only be used to add you to the recipient list of these pre-alpha Xbox versions.”According to Kodi, it has taken more than a year to bring the hugely-popular media player onto the Xbox.First off been working with computers for 10 years. I have a static Ip for my xbox, and my router settings are set to DMZ it. Note everytime its unable to find the Extender and fails to connect, I check my services on the PC, And Windows Media Center Extender Service gets disabled, and it also gets unchecked on the Windows Firewall. Im extremely frustrated over this , that I cannot get this to work. I have tried disabling windows firewall and my personal firewall .

All you'll need to follow along is to configure Xbox Media Center, or XMBC, to use the computer you use to surf the Internet.

Primary Goals Secondary Goals include the addition of an on-screen keyboard when logging in and using feature such as Search.

The Design While my last streaming plugin (Amazon MCE) was a full Media Center native application (with the exception of the Silver Light player), this application will be a Win Form application with a MCML registration and launch point. Because Netflix no longer provides the casual developer access to their API.

NOTE: After releasing the BETA I noticed a few minor things I wanted to correct; an updated file (Build 20151114) is now posted. First – a big thank you to all those who have donated to the project and for testing the BETA.

As expected, there were some glitches – especially around remote controls; but I think we’re past the worst of it. The three primary goals (see above) have been achieved.
